### Configure Site Settings

When you first access Kitehouse, go to the **Site Settings** tab to start setting up your site.

Categories allows you to categorise reports and keeps them organized.

<summary>Setting up Status Pipeline</summary>

The Status Pipeline allows you to track the current status of an incident. Each category can have it's own different pipeline and override the default.

1. Navigate to the <i class="fa-code-merge">:code-merge:</i> **Status Pipeline** tab under Site Settings.
2. Add/move/remove different statuses and set which of them are terminal.

A **Terminal** marks the end of the pipeline. You can select multiple statuses to be the terminal and staff members can simply select from a dropdown the desired status.

**Category Overrides**\
You can setup a custom status pipeline per category. By default, categories without a custom pipeline, will be using the **Default Status Pipeline.**

<summary>Setting up Roles</summary>

Roles allows you to customise the permission level given to your staff members

1. Go to the <i class="fa-users-gear">:users-gear:</i> **Roles** section under Site Settings.
2. Click **Create Role** to create a new role. Click the role to expand and reveal more options.
3. Enable/disable permissions by clicking the toggle on each permission.

### Adding your Students

There's two ways to add students in Kitehouse, importing or adding them one-by-one.

<summary>Importing your Students</summary>

1. In the Students tab, click the **'Import Students'** button.
2. Select whether a <i class="fa-table">:table:</i> **Full List** or a <i class="fa-list">:list:</i> **Partial List**.
3. Upload your **.csv** file to start importing your students.
4. Match the fields required (listed below) with your columns in the .csv file.
   1. First Name
   2. Last Name
   3. Location
   4. Student ID
   5. Email

Selecting <i class="fa-table">:table:</i> **Full List** in the option will update all of the students listed in your site. Those who aren't on the list will be checked out.

Selecting <i class="fa-list">:list:</i> **Partial List** in the option will only add students in your site.

1. In the Students tab, click the **'Add Student'** button.
2. In the sidebar, fill out the form with the student's information.
   1. Email

   2. First Name

   3. Last Name

   4. Location (room number)

   5. Student ID

1. Hit **'Save'** to add the student to the list.

### Adding Staff Members

Once your site is configured, your next step is to add your staff members.

1. Under the Staff tab, click the **'Add Staff'** button.
2. In the popout, fill out the required information:
   1. Email
   2. First Name
   3. Last Name
   4. Job Title

3. Assign a role to your staff member.
4. Click **'Save'** to invite your staff member to Kitehouse.
